30 Rock

I think that you wanted us to watch this episode because it was relevant to our topic about racisim and prejudices. And in this episode, we saw that even if you are a member of two completely different''parties'' so they can still be together. and that one should not have prejudices without knowing them.

I think that could be different from person to person. Some can actually learn how ridiculous they actually are when they for example when that women thought that her neighbor was a terrorist, but he was just making a video to a tv-show.
Using humor can also make serious things to be kind of unserious.  And some people can misunderstand it and can feel hurt or offensive, as I said… its different from person to person. You need to know who you are talking to.
When I was younger I got sad by people making jokes of my skin color, it was certain offensive. I actually wanted to be lighter… but as I got older I didn’t care about it. Today I don’t care that much if people are joking of my skin color, I just laugh or join them. But there are limits... I can still get hurt.

Death Penalty

’’I said I was going to tell a joke. Death has set me free. That’s the biggest joke.’’

This was the last words that made most impression on me, because it felt like he had been punished for something he hasn’t done intentionally. And no one didn’t listen or trust him when he was trying to explain himself.
Some people say that when you die, you are free. You are in another ‘’world’’ where you can do anything you like. But you also leave the people you love.

I am against Death Penalty because I don’t think that when you kill someone everything gets better. I feel like they are just ‘’running’’ away their punishment. But sometimes death penalty is the easiest way to punish. For example Saddam Hussein got a death penalty, and 89% of the world were agree because all of the bad thing he had done, and innocent people got involve.

I heart Sport

I love sports!
Its so many positive things about sports! It brings people together, and everyone is following the same rules wherever you are in the world. For example football; in a pub, you can see different supporters from the whole wide world are watching the same game, and supporting the same team. When they score a goal or two, u can see the happiness, hugging each other and are so happy.
And on the football field, the players are like a family, they respect, love and sometimes irritated each other… It doesn’t care if they are good or a bad team; they are just having fun what they love to do on their free time. And the best part with loving sports is that, you don’t even notice that you are working out in the same time you are enjoying something you love to do.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time

I didn’t like the book because the way the book was written on was very difficult to read, and over in a longer period I just got ‘’tired’’ and I kind a lost the interest to read. But that’s no wonder because I understand that the book is written by a little boy who has Asperger’s syndrome. After I read the book I really understood how it is to ‘’live’’ with a disease like that, and that looked so difficult out to a person like me.
Another thing irritated me (personal) was how the author had written the ‘’dad-part’’ in the book. The father lies about to his own child that the mother who gave him birth is dead. And he hides the letters from, and kills the dog Christopher liked. And when the neighbor thought that it was Christopher who had killed the dog, the dad didn’t do anything. What type of dad does that? If my dad had done that to me, I have never forgiven him for that. But there again I can see the fathers point, because he got Asperger’s syndrome, and people with Asperger’s are usually  a few years younger in their mind.
I can say that there was something I liked with the book… that was his math skills. He didn’t give up taking the math exam, and the most shocking part was that he got a good grade in it.
The plot in the book is very good, but it wasn’t my type of book!

You the one that I dream about all day
You the one that I think about always
You Are The One So I Make Sure I Behave!
My love is your love, your love is my love

Baby, I love you, I need you here
Give me all the time
Baby we meant to be
You got me, smiling all the time

Cause you know how to give me that
You know how to pull me back
When I go runnin, runnin
Tryin' to get away from loving ya
You know how to love me hard
I won't lie, I'm falling hard
Yep, I'm falling for ya but there's nothin wrong with that

Sky Is The Limit!

Bildeanalyse

English: Travel blog; Australia!

Day 2: Guess where I am right now?! In AUSTRALIA, SYDNEY!!
Okey, for three days ago I just won a trip to the capital of Australia, yes that’s right Sydney! I have never won a trip before, so I am so excited.
The flight trip was annoying; I sat behind a baby who cried every half an hour... So I didn’t get that much sleep. When we landed, oh my gash... It was amazing. On the flight trip I read a little about Sydney. Sydney it’s one of the famous cities in Australia and has a population on 4,575,532, Thank god Australia is an English spoken country!

After we had slept for over 14 hours (as you know, there are 11 hours different between Norway and Australia so my sleeping habit is kind of messed up...)                                                                                 Julie and I went to one of the famous performing arts center in the world :

The opera house is built by a Scandinavian person in 1978, Jørn Utzon he’s a Danish architect.                                                                                                                                   After many facebook profile picture taken on the opera. We went and ate a good Australian traditional food, meat pie and pavlova as dessert. That tasted wonderful, I just get water in the mouth by thinking of it.

Julie is a big fan of rugby, and so are the Australian’s. At the end of the day we went to see a rugby match. Funny, but it hurts to see how aggressive they are.
Right now I am just relaxing at Sydney Hilton hotel.
I am in heaven...

Day 3: Hey my friends!
Hahah! I like the way Australians talk, they have a funny accent.
Today Julie asked the hotel director where we could see some kangaroos, because as we all know, kangaroo is a national symbol of Australia. Our lovely hotel director booked us a taxi and tickets to Sydney’s biggest zoo, Taronga Zoo.
Did you know that a kangaroo can jump over 10 meters?! That’s crazy.

At the end of the Zoo, we went to Sydney’s best shopping center The Strand Arcade:
For us Norwegians everything is so cheap outside of Norway...Ha-ha! So I and Julie went… ’’Loco’’
After we had relaxed on the hotel, we went for Sydney tower walk at the night. It was a wonderful view.
Did you know that the tower is 268m high? And it’s one of the tallest buildings in Australia. The tallest building in where I live must be Tyholt tower, which is 70-80 m high (?)

Day 4: Surfing!
Water sport is very famous in Australia, therefore we went to one of the famous beaches in Sydney, Bondi Beach. On the beach there was this funny surfer who really wanted us to learn how-to-surf on one day, he didn’t leave us a. So Julie and I were like ‘’why not?’’ And the funny thing is that at the end of the day, we actually could surf… no we were not amateur!

Day 5: At the park right now!
I am blogging from the one and only Royal Botanic Garden (Sydney’s the central park) It’s directly east for The Opera house, and the garden is so peaceful place… as they say  The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney, is a place of natural beauty, where people come for peace, relaxation, education’’ –(http://www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/welcome_to_bgt/royal_botanic_garden) it’s true!  Now are just enjoying a relaxing picnic, and reloading tonight.

Day 5/6: Party!
Because last night was our last day in Sydney, we decided to have a good bye party with our self’s. You guys have no idea who we saw in Soho Bar and Lounge!! Nicole Kidman (iiik) Even though I am not a big fan of her, I can say that I got some ‘’starstruck’’ when I saw her.
Back to the last night party… one word, AWESOME! The clubs in Sydney is freaking good. We were lucky too. We were at this bar that gave out free drinks to girls. Free booze! However, at one point, the whole thing did come out of hand. Cannabis was floating around the place, and not many of the partyers could stand. However, having only tried a little, I was fine. The next day I woke up with no hangover and to men and a dog in my bed!

Day 7: Goodbye Sydney L
I had a wonderful week here, this was a great experience with my best friend, and I am so thankful for have won this trip to Australia. Now I am heading back to Norway.                                                         Back to the real life…
